PhD student

Marta Leal Rueda was born in Almería in February 1994, where she has developed her academic training. She graduated as an Industrial Electronic Engineer at the University of Almeria. Due to her interest in renewable energies, especially Solar Energy, she studied the degree of Electrical Engineering with mention in Renewable Energies and, later, the Master in Solar Energy at the same university. Together with the Automatic Control, Robotics and Mechatronics Research Group (ARM), she is working on the COMMIT 4.0EB project, which aims to develop a digital twin of the CIESOL building, located at the University of Almeria, to model and predict the production and consumption of different systems, optimise the use of integrated renewable energies, and create advanced controllers that maximise renewable energy and minimise grid consumption. He is currently studying for a PhD in Computer Science.
