Postdoctoral researcher

Igor M. L. Pataro received a B.S. degree in Process Control and Automation Engineering and an M.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia, Salvador, Brazil, in 2016 and 2019, respectively, with a master’s research period at the Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy, in 2018. He received the international Ph.D. degree (with Hons.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Almería, Spain, in 2024. His main research interests include modeling, controlling, and optimizing processes and renewable energy systems, based on predictive control, nonlinear control, and system optimization.
