The Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA), a dependency of the Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas (CIEMAT), is the largest concentrating solar technology research, development and test center in Europe. The PSA has been recognized as a Unique Scientific and Technological Facility (ICTS) by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and as a Large-Scale Research Facility by the European Commission.
